RuBI – platform of choice for startups in Chhattisgarh

Rungta Business Incubator (RUBI) from Rungta College of Engineering & Technology (RCET) is in the college campus in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. We aim to build a vibrant and viable start-up ecosystem in the state of Chhattisgarh and the larger region.

We offer a range of support systems to assist and handhold startups. We also conduct several structured activities and programs to nurture innovations and creative ideas and convert them into successful enterprises.

RUBI also conducts an annual national level startup summit in partnership with startup India and Startup Chhattisgarh and many other corporates and institutions CHESS (Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship and Startup Summit). The event had extensive participation from startups, investors, government institutions, incubators and various other stakeholders from across the country. Startups secured about INR 3.5 Cr from the event.

A PLATFORM TO HELP IDEAS EVOLVE INTO WORLD CLASS ENTERPRISES

RUBI is Chhattisgarh state’s first fully functional private incubator. We have created a physical platform and support system for feasible project ideas, creativity and innovative thinking. We house a state-of-the-art, work & development environment spread over 10000 sft. Besides the office spaces, we provide aspiring and budding entrepreneurs robust technology infrastructure, development tools, test facilities, prototyping equipment and other product development equipment under one roof.

Highlights of CHESS

CHESS is our annual startup summit event. It is an annual highpoint in the startup calendar in the region.

The largest startup gathering till date in Chhattisgarh and in the region.
Over 25 investors came in person and several others confirmed partnership affirming interest to participate in the startup story of the state.
Startup India and startup Chhattisgarh and a host of other FI’s, institutions, investors partnered in the event.
Till date over 3.5 cr mostly as early stage seed and pre-series funding has been disbursed to startups as a direct consequence of CHESS 2023

Through The Annual CHESS summits RUBI proposes to set up an enduring platform and ecosystem in the region, comprising of a expanding network of stakeholders to support the startups in the state and the region.

Technology transfer center

Rungta Business Incubator (RUBI), in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), hosted a stimulating one-day visit to the Technology Transfer Centre, STPI (Software Technological Parks of India). This immersive experience provided students with a front-row seat to the cutting edge of software technologies & startups.

The visit offered a treasure trove of insights into the latest advancements and groundbreaking ideas shaping the future startups of India.
